The Small Business Centre in partnership with several community businesses has launched a sponsorship program to help bridge that gap along with encouraging community growth, creating jobs and supporting retention of a local, talented workforce.
Entrepreneurs that are prepared to work hard and invest in themselves and accept business guidance should apply and start down the path of living their dreams of owning and running their own business. Successful program applicants can receive sponsorship grants plus vital coaching, consulting, business monitoring and education.

I would like to take a moment to express my thanks and gratitude to Lisa Price as well as Birgit Wartenberg for the help they have offered me on my journey thus far. They have not only helped me create a professional business plan, but have also offered sound advice with regard to presenting my product. Lisa has also spearheaded a panel of local business people who out of the goodness of their hearts have offered their valuable time to hear from people who are just starting out in the area of business.
The purpose of this panel is not only to hear from the people who are pitching, but to also offer advice and perhaps funds or services with the purpose of giving back and at the same time propelling the new businesses in the right direction. I would now like to thank all the men whom took the time to not only hear about my invention, but to also take an honest interest in the product. All the questions that were asked I thought were very on point and considering you had no time to prepare those questions I was grateful that there were so many. To get the opinion of so many local successful business professionals and for that opinion to coincide with my own meant a lot to me. It is one thing for an inventor to think they have a good product, but for you to agree with me, again it means a lot.
