Ontario Secondary School Business Plan Competition Are you a secondary school student and have a great idea for a business? This is your chance to show your creativity and entrepreneurial talent as you design your own business plan. Everyone who enters is eligible to win one of the competition prizes. Applicants can be from any of the following schools:

In 2009 our 1st place business plan was rewarded $500 which was sponsord by Trenval Business Development Corporation. They will move on to a regional and provincial competition where they can win up to $2500 in bursaries. 2009 1st Place Winners:
 (Stephan Shier and Zachary Brandt) Hammer Head Concussion Helmets were developed using new leading concussion proof foam. It is a partnership, the founders are Stephan Shier and Zachary Brandt. Hammer Head Concussion Helmets sell the following products: hockey helmets, football helmets, motocross helmets, and lacrosse helmets. Their goal is to become the leading sports dealer in all of Canada. They aspire to carry a reputation in the marketplace for developing and delivering a concussion proof helmet for all sport players and believe they can achieve this with their cutting edge product development.
For information on preparing your business plan, contact the Small Business Centre. To enter this competition, your business plan must be for a sole proprietorship or partnership. Business plans for corporations will not be accepted.
